5/8 Rod End Kit
This is our 5/8" Rod end set, comes as a single rod end, with a tube adapter for either 3/4" or 1" ID tubing, as well as a jam nut and spacers of your choice.
With spacers, the mount width of this 5/8" rod end is 1.5" and is available for either a 1/2" or 5/8" bolt size. 5/8" Spacers offer limited misalignment, whereas the 1/2" misalignment spacer allow for 30 degrees of articulation. This rod end set is rated to just over 17,900 lbs.
Tips To Help Prevent Any Seized Or Warped Threads
- Correctly adjust welder settings and start your puddle on the tube. (Too much heat will warp the threads)
- Do not weld the tube adapter with the rod end threaded inside. (The two pieces cool at different rates and will lock them together)
- Wait until everything has completely cooled before threading your rod ends into the adapters.
